About Lapskaus

Lapskaus is a love letter to Liverpool — the places, people, makers and phrases that make this city what it is. We’re building a lifestyle brand rooted in humour, local pride and indie spirit, where playful design takes on everyday Scouse culture and every drop celebrates what it means to be from here.

We also wanted to create a brand that operates a little bit differently, with a focus on design, quality, and environmental responsibility and community. A brand that moves away from fast fashion and is sustainable, something you buy that is high quality, high comfort and will wear for years.

Something that uses ethical materials and causes as little, to no harm in its production, something that pays local artists fairly, and finally something that supports community organisations (through a proportion of whatever revenue we make - we're starting with 2%, as we grow, so will our giving) that are doing good work in Liverpool. We'd love to hear from you on who we should add to our list of community organisations to support. 

Our vision is to produce entirely in Liverpool and to contribute to our local economy. For now, to allow us to get off the ground quickly and prove a demand for what we offer, we are using local to the northwest, ethical and sustainable Print on Demand providers.
